Email Ole
Ole was attracted to a career in real estate because of the way that property blends functional living needs with artistic design. Yet it is the pursuit of client satisfaction that continues to drive him. Whether he is helping a friend or client into their dream home or negotiating top-dollar for a seller, nothing gives him more pleasure than sitting down with his clients afterwards and feeling their happiness in the step they’ve made. It is his commitment and attention to detail to every aspect of a transaction that gives clients peace of mind during a sale.
Having traveled and lived around the world, Ole has experienced tremendous ethnic, cultural and economic diversity. Engaging in various cultures and communities has taught him to be a good listener and an effective communicator – skills that were honed during the years he spent as a corporate language trainer in Seoul, Korea. Overall, the skill set he has learned abroad is an integral part of his success in real estate, where he meets people from all walks of life and dedicates himself to understanding each client’s unique needs and situation.
Ole grew up in Victoria and is known for his intimate knowledge of the many different neighborhoods, cultures and buildings that comprise this city. He graduated with Distinction from the University of Victoria where he took a keen interest in Urban Planning. Ole excelled in the classroom as well as in varsity sports – specifically basketball where he won a National Championship with UVic. Since joining Duttons in 2006, Ole has earned licenses in Sales and Property Management, and he will challenge the Managing Broker's course in 2012. He has been a consistent VREB MLS® Award Winner and he is now an Owner of the company. Ole couples educational background and real estate knowledge to achieve a truly unique and comprehensive perspective.
In his off hours, Ole can be seen running along the waterfront, reading on a patio in Cook St Village, or enjoying one of the many eateries around town. He and his partner, Robyn, call Fairfield home.
