Colin’s philosophy.
1) It must be sold!
2) I'm the person to sell it!
3) I'm going to sell it with honesty, care and efficiency.
Colin knows that there’s no substitute for making the sale happen in a timely and economically satisfactory way, but all the while he stays in tune with the myriad of side issues which can make the transaction either a smooth experience or a stressful one. He’s watchful of the human and emotional needs of his clients while he keeps the main process on track. In short, he cares about his clients as real people.
This multi-talented Realtor® comes by his skills honestly: he’s a former CEO and consultant who has worked with companies and social service agencies throughout the UK, USA and Canada. Colin's clients and peers alike will tell you that he has a way of keeping his eye on the ball while breaking down barriers, helping clients learn about real estate, and having fun the whole time.
Colin brings to Duttons more than 30 years experience assisting people in transition and is well known in the Victoria community for his two decades of work as Executive Director of the Cridge Centre for the Family. His dedication to serving others was recognized in 2003 with the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal for Community Service. As former president of the Better Business Bureau of Vancouver Island, Colin has a deep commitment to client service and satisfaction. He continues as a volunteer director at the Cridge Centre and as a volunteer board member at the BBB. Colin is Duttons' expert when it comes to interpreting strata bylaws and municipal regulations and he is a master negotiator. In his downtime, he loves acting, music, camping and his involvement with his church.
If you meet Colin (and he really hopes you will!), you might want to ask him more about his past adventures and about some of the things that make him tick today! But he’ll probably be keen to hear a few of your stories too!
